Year 6 Royal Navy Visit

On Wednesday 12th February, Year 6 were able to learn about the various careers the Royal Navy offers - there are over 100 different job roles. They then undertook some challenges that required creative thinking and problem solving.

The children firstly had to work as a team to create a free-standing communication tower using a range of materials. The range of ideas and solutions to problems was great to see.
Camel class then had to create their own flares thinking about aerodynamics and how to create a streamlined design.

The engagement was excellent and many SECRET skills were seen in action.
